Peter N. Wood
Peter serves as Vice President for Planning and Government Affairs at Community Health of South Florida (CHI), a large, non-profit, health care provider in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Within this role he oversees strategic planning, partnerships, grant acquisition, government affairs, farmworker health, outreach and mobile medical van services. Wood has worked at CHI since August 2018. From 2001 to 2018, he served as the Vice President of Programs and Community Investments at Health Foundation of South Florida, a philanthropic, grantmaking organization serving Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. From 1993 to 2000, Wood served as Research Associate at The Institute for Public Policy and Management, University of Washington in Seattle where he conducted research and provided consultation to state and local governments in the area of health care and inter-system coordination.
Wood earned a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs, University of Washington in Seattle.
