BRAEDYN KROMER currently serves as the Deputy Director for the Office of Strategic Business Operations in the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) at HRSA. Braedyn joined HRSA in 2022 and is responsible for managing the enterprise data and IT system needs for the Bureau. She also serves as the lead for the Uniform Data System Patient-Level Submission, or UDS+, initiative at HRSA. Braedyn started her federal career at the U.S. Census Bureau in 2008, where she served as a statistician focused on labor and veteran statistics for the American Community Survey (ACS). In 2016, Braedyn joined FDA as Chief of Program Evaluation, where she transformed FDA’s usage of data and analytics to inform decisions around firm compliance and outbreak response. Before her federal career Braedyn worked as a Senior Economist at a private consulting firm in Baltimore City. She has a passion for data transparency and accessibility that drives her work in federal service. Braedyn holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mathematical Economics.
