Dr. Alecia Cyprian is Chief Executive Officer of Southeast Community Health Systems. Cyprian joined Southeast Community Health Systems as its CEO in 2014. Since her appointment, Cyprian has provided strategic direction for the non-profit healthcare organization in communities of high need in four Southeast Louisiana parishes. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the organization’s reach. Cyprian is a board of director and serves as immediate past president of the Louisiana Primary Care Association, Board President of the Louisiana Rural Health Association, Advisory Committee Member for Petra College, Chair of the Health Center Excellence Training Committee, and a member of the Legislative Committee for the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). She serves as faculty for NACHC’s Board Member Boot Camp and has also served as Lead Mentor for the NACHC’s CEO Institute. Prior to joining Southeast, she worked in higher education for 18 years as a director, dean, and assistant vice president providing oversight of enrollment management and student finance in addition to having principal roles in ensuring state and federal program compliance.
