Sarah Francois joined NACHC in July 2022 as the Deputy Director of Grassroots Advocacy. Prior to that, she spent nearly 15 years serving as the director of Fund Development and Marketing at Progressive Community Health Centers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to leading advocacy efforts, her experience includes fund development, marketing, and community relations. Sarah has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to CHCs throughout her career. She is a graduate of the Community Health Center Executive Leadership Fellowship program, and a recipient of NACHC’s Geiger Gibson Emerging Leader Award and Betsy K. Cooke Grassroots MVP Advocacy Award. Sarah also participated in the inaugural cohort of the Vot-ER Civic Health Fellowship with the goal of increasing voter registration among CHC staff and patients. Sarah was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and considers herself a true Midwesterner at heart. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota but maintains loyalty to all Wisconsin sports teams. She is an avid baseball fan, loves to travel, and enjoys tour guiding and being outdoors in her spare time.
