Carrie Miles is the CEO for Neighborhood Health Center in east central Indiana. In 2017, she was hired by the governing board to establish and build a new organization from the ground up. Since that time, NHC successfully obtained FQHC Look Alike status, expanded services and programs to serve over 7,000 patients and nearly 30,000 clinic visits in three locations. NHC currently employs about 90 providers and staff.
Carrie has 28 years of experience in various sectors of health care. Prior to working at NHC, Carrie was the Director of Business Development at a local regional health system. She has an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, bachelor’s degree in medical technology and chemistry from Ball State University and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified through Purdue University.
Carrie has found her passions fulfilled by serving her community with the health center model of care. Carrie believes that success is driven by building the right team of people, leveraging relationships, working collaboratively, and utilizing data to make decisions. Additionally, she has had the pleasure to be a member of the faculty for the NACHC Lookalike Learning Collaborative and serves as the NACHC Lookalike Task Force Co-Chair.
