Miranda Sedillo, DSc abd, has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare and is a distinguished leader with expertise in program management and strategic development. As the COO at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless (AHCH), she leads executive oversight of operational functions and implementation of organizational strategy, and develops, manages, and implements the operational aspects of AHCH. Previously, at UNM Medical Group’s Truman Health Services, she served as executive leadership, managing NM's largest HIV and transgender patient-centered medical home. In this role, she oversaw nearly 120 employees and a substantial annual budget, directing strategic and operational initiatives to enhance integrated care and improve chronic disease management. Her educational background includes an all but defended Doctor of Science in Executive Healthcare Leadership from the University of Alabama – Birmingham. Her professional career is marked by significant accomplishments local and global initiatives. At the UNMHSC's Project ECHO/ECHO Institute, Ms. Sedillo played a pivotal role in developing and managing hepatitis and correctional health projects. She successfully launched statewide initiatives and collaborated with international organizations to advance hepatitis C treatment and elimination efforts. Ms. Sedillo’s career reflects a dedication to improving health outcomes and advancing healthcare practices through innovative solutions and compassionate leadership.
