Linda Flake, the President/Chief Executive Officer of Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers (SJFMC), a migrant and community health center, has worked as a health care executive serving minority and disadvantaged communities for over 40 years. Since assuming the helm of Southern Jersey in 1992, the health center experienced extraordinary growth, from annually serving approximately 5000 patients to over 52,000 in 2023, expanded clinical services to include behavioral health, dentistry, & podiatry, and its facilities, to eight sites. The agency implemented many innovative programs including the Mobile Medic, telemedicine, and Hypertensive Remote Monitoring.
Linda served on the Board of NACHC, is a Past President of the New Jersey Primary Care Association Board, and also served as an officer for the Association for 20 years. She is passionate about her work and advocates for the improvement of access to quality health care for the underserved. SJFMC is an OCHIN EPIC health center and member of OCHIN’s HCCN, and Ms. Flake serves on OCHIN’s CEO Steering Committee. She is an alumna member of the Atlantic City (NJ) Chapter of The Links, Inc. A graduate of Hampton University, she received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Temple University.
