Felipe Flores (they/them/elle) is currently a Director of Community Health Workers & Promotoras at San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium. Felipe received their Bachelor's degree in Sociology at UC Berkeley and has nearly a decade of work in the healthcare field, initially focusing on sexual health, PrEP, and HIV services. As a two-spirit Cora-Salvadoran and San Francisco native, Felipe centers bridging health care services and community engagement in all of their work. During their time at San Francisco AIDS Foundation and Planned Parenthood Northern California, Felipe worked with a variety of clinics throughout California, providing capacity building assistance, training, and enhancing referral networks to address health disparities. Now, Felipe leads a Community Health Workers/Promotoras program across 12 community clinics in San Francisco, diversifying the healthcare workforce and providing training and support as best they can. During their free time, they like to watch horror movies, all forms of drag, and play with their roommates dog.
