Director, United States &Territories Country Program
International Medical Corps
Katja Ericson is the Country Director of International Medical Corps’ newest country mission which aims to strengthen the capacity of health and human services to be better prepared and able to respond to localized emergencies across the U.S. and U.S. Territories. Katja brings over 20 years of experience managing multi-donor funded program portfolios implemented both internationally and domestically in service to diverse under-resourced and marginalized communities facing systemic access barriers. She brings extensive experience designing and implementing programming focused on facility and community health interventions, particularly in relation to the impacts of man-made conflicts, climate-related disasters, and protracted public health crises. Katja looks forward to developing new partnerships with health actors across the country to explore ways collaboration can support each other’s efforts to better serve communities under grey skies, as well as blue.
