Ryann Bresnahan is the Technical Advisor, Training and Capacity Building at International Medical Corps (IMC). She previously was the Research & Learning Specialist for the Emergency Response Unit (ERU), leading training and exercise initiatives for the ERU and US Program within IMC. She has over 15 years of experience in public health emergency preparedness planning for health and medical disciplines, with experience at the Emergency Preparedness Research, Evaluation and Practice (EPREP) Program at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health managing emergency operations plan writing and exercise intiatives for healthcare coalitions in the Greater Boston area. She is a doctoral candidate in Health Professions Education at Simmons University, and earned an MS in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, during a Rotary International Ambassador scholarship. Ryann is also a Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) with FEMA and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with DRII.
