Margaret (Meg) Meador, MPH, C-PHI, CPHQ serves as Director of Quality Improvement and Integration at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). She currently leads several CDC-sponsored national Million Hearts® initiatives, including projects focused on improving blood pressure control among African Americans, optimizing use of statin therapy for patients at high risk of cardiovascular disease, and increasing uptake of self-measured blood pressure monitoring. She also serves as Principal Investigator for NACHC’s broader cooperative agreement with the CDC: Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services through National Partnerships to Improve and Protect the Nation’s Health. Previously, she worked at a health center-controlled network, a payer, and as a US. Army Medical Service Corps Officer. Ms. Meador earned her BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, her MPH from UNC-Chapel Hill, a certificate in Public Health Informatics from Johns Hopkins University, and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She also serves as a Merit Reviewer for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Institute and is on the American Heart Association/American Medical Association Target: BP Advisory Board.
