In his roles as a consultant, clinical medicine services coordinator, clinician, researcher, and mentor, Carter is dedicated to improving health outcomes and advancing healthcare equity. His approach is intentional and focuses on enhancing health literacy, rebuilding trust in the healthcare system, and promoting culturally competent, evidence-based practices—strategies crucial for improving care quality and reducing morbidity and mortality rates.
Carter completed his medical training at CMU School of Medicine, received his graduate degree from Towson University, and earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University.
